Sucessful Operation but may need to Move

Joshua's operation has given us a new boy. It's just two weeks ago, that he went in to have his tonsils and adenoids out and grommets put in. Wow, I can't believe what a different wee lad he is. He struggled with sleep apena due to the size of the adenoids and was really frustrated at times at not hearing and understanding what to call things, plus eating enough to keep a sparrow alive. Now he's eating more then me, sleeping deeply and so happy to be able to name something. Favourite word 'duck'.
I look back with a little disappointment that our doctor 'fogged me off" with it's just another cold, but grateful that God went over the system and got us in on a cancellation with a specialist and two weeks later money was given to cover the operation.
Hence, this ball of energy is keeping me busy reading books as his world has opened up to him, wanting to climb everything that stays still and keeps me constantly in and out of the kitchen finding him things to eat.
What I've learnt through it, is never doubt your God built in sense, that says 'something is not right here' and push, to be heard. It took some sleepless nights and Jay telling me, tell the doctor your concerns till she hears you. So I did.
He turns 2yrs old 5th April and I've invited 8 wee friends and their Mums and hired a rollercoaster from the toy library.
My Mum is coming from the North Island for the week to celebrate with us, so that will be great.

I get my first two kids to care for at the end of the month. James 2yrs old and Jessi 3 1/2yrs old. Looking forward to it. Only for 5hrs, but it's a start and a little extra cash as well.

Our landlord not going to come through with the heating he promised so we may need to move, which is a little upsetting. We've been here 4yrs now and I love the place, but now Joshua is a busy mobile child and the daycare kids, the house is too small to live in only the half that we can afford to heat. Will keep you posted on that one. Just heard that today so need to ask our Father what to do.

Better go and have some lunch. Don't like this season of Grey's much but continue to love Desperate Housewives.
Bye for now.
I need to add a photo will make it the next post.

A long awaited post

Hi friends, Sorry I haven't posted for ages. I got a little put off by it all when I got a posting from someone I didn't know who liked the look of my son. It kind of frecked me out a little as I though how vunerable I am to the web through this blog. Anyway, I guess that sounds a little silly but I'm over that now so I'll try to make time again.

Belated Happy New Year wishes to everyone!!! We went to Wellington and had Christmas with my matron and of honor and her family and my Mum. It was great. 9 of us. I loved it. I love being with lots of people. I guess that's why YWAM suited me so much. While we were in a NZ museam Te Papa, Joshua decided to join in a dance that was being performed for us. I'll post some pictures of that. So cute.

Joshua is about to have 3 operations. Tonsils and adenoids out and grommets for his ears. He's been struggling for awhile and I'll be so glad when its done - 28th February. We got a gift of money so we can go private which means we can have the operation in 2 weeks time instead of 3 months through the public system.

Jay is looking for another job and enjoying the process of doing tests etc to find out what he'd be suited for. I'm all set up to run a small day care from home now and hope to have 2 children to care for starting early March. I've asked for a 2yr old and a 3yr old. I will do this 3 days a week and I'm looking forward to it. I'm praying for the right families and hoping I will make a difference in all of their lives.

The great idea's of Jay photographing weddings and me the wedding planner never took off and now the wedding season here in NZ is almost over. That's ok, but the money would of been nice.

Focus on the family has been talking a lot about marriage with Valentines this week, so I've been thinking about how to better communicate with Jay. Men are so different from us. Well at least I think so...

Thinking of Heidi getting married in India soon. Plus hoping her world ticket will include a trip to us in NZ.

Bye for now,
Love Mary.
PS thanks for letting me catch up on your lives through your blogs.
